Prof. Pauline Deutz

Pauline Deutz is a professor of Human Geography in at the University of Hull.

She has been researching issues related to the Circular Economy for 20 years. Her research focuses on the governance of resource recovery along with the social implications of the transition to a circular economy activity. She is the PI of the EU MSCA Innovative Training Network ‘Cresting’ (Circular Economy: Sustainability Implications and Guiding Progress) and was co-PI of the University of Hull’s EPSRC-funded Evolving a Circular Plastics Economy project.  She is the past president of the International Sustainable Development Research Society.
