Dr. Rajendra Foolmaun

R.K. Foolmaun is presently working as Divisional Environment Officer at the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Mauritius where he is heading the Information and Education Division.  He has a PhD from the University of Mauritius (2013) in Environment Systems Analysis.  His research work was based on ‘Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) of four disposal scenarios for post-consumer Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) bottles in Mauritius’. He has also been a part-time Lecturer at the University of Mauritius. Moreover, he has also been a resource person for UNEP in 2014 for providing training on Water Footprint in two workshops (organized jointly by UNEP and South African National Cleaner Production centre) in South Africa.
